This is a testimony of God's mercies and goodness to me in my endeavour to understand and manage bipolar disorder or manic-depressive illness (a medical condition that can be treated) and other challenges in my life, by God's grace. This morning the Lord filled my heart with praise and thanksgiving as I recounted afresh His goodness and mercies in giving me rest and salvation while I was yet a sinner and my soul was weary with sins.
After saving me, He continues to give me rest in Him along this pilgrim journey. My walk with the Lord has many ups and downs but I have found the rest that our Lord spoke about and He gives me strength for each new day.
So I could not resist but post my Word-Filled Wednesday and Thankful Thursday to share with you God's goodness and mercies to me, and to us who belong to Him!
♥ I am thankful to God that He bids us to come to Him and He promised to give us rest.
If you are labouring under the burdens of sin or cares of the world, sickness, troubles, and other burdens, may you come unto our Lord Jesus Christ and find the rest that is in Him. For He has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5) because He has loved us with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3)
♥ I am thankful to God for the abundant life that He has given to us when we trust in Him. Though in this life we have many ups and downs, God is in control and He is lovingly working all things for His glory and our good (Romans 8:28) ♥ I am thankful to God that when we turn our eyes upon our Lord Jesus Christ, the things on this earth then seems strangely dim. Thank God that we can have the blessed hope of being in eternity with Him to worship Him, enjoy His love and fellowship. Let us then run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith.
♥ I am thankful to God for blessing me with my family who love me, a church who loved Christ and me, and so many friends and blogging friends who love Christ and me. I thank God for each and everyone of you! May God bless you always in your kindness to me.

Lately, I have been rather swarmed by some family commitments, works and other unforseen circumstances.

♥ I am thankful to God for demonstrating His love for me by sending His only begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for me to redeem me from eternal damnation and to forgive me of my sin, reconcile me to Himself and give me eternal life.
♥ I am thankful to God for encouraging me through His Words daily, guiding me to walk in His ways, comforting me through all the trials and challenges in my life, and filling me with joy in believing in Him and His precious promises.
♥ I am thankful to God for blessing me with my family who love me. As I am the only Christian in my family, I do covet your prayers that God may in His time give me the joy of seeing my mother, sister and 2 brothers coming to know Him savingly.
♥ I am thankful to God for giving me a church who loves Christ and loves me. They have been a great support and encouragement to me as I strive to live for our Lord and serve Him. In all my afflictions and difficult struggles with clinical depression and bipolar disorder, they have demonstrated extraordinary love, kindness and support. Due to my health condition, I am doing some freelance work of selling my Homemade Bookmarks, Cards and Gifts and some freelance administrative work. The Lord in His faithfulness has been providing for me through the kind love gifts of some brethren in my church who gave cheerfully and anonymously as unto the Lord. Through these kind love gifts plus the income from my freelance works, all my needs have been met over the last 1 year. All praise and glory be to God!
♥ I am thankful to God that I can serve Him through this blog. It has been a great blessing for me to share my life and God's goodness to me, as well as some useful resources and articles with you.
